Anchor Faith Church opened its doors on April 11, 2004 with one clear mission: Ignite the City, Impact the Nation, and Influence the World. By the grace of God, we’ve watched that vision reach far beyond what began in St. Augustine.
Since day one, the heart of this house has remained the same: building disciples, cultivating genuine fellowship, raising strong leaders, and living as examples of Christ in everyday life. These four pillars continue to shape who we are and how we serve people.

Apostles Earl & Marci Glisson first planted Anchor Faith Church in St. Augustine, Florida in April of 2004. Both Florida natives, they knew once they entered full-time ministry that they would start a church in America's oldest city. Both are graduates of Rhema Bible Training College in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and love spending time with their family, both natural and spiritual.
They both have such a heart and compassion to see families discipled and raised up so that generations can be reached with the life-giving message of the Kingdom of God. Ap. is the president of Faith Christian University, which since 2022, has been headquartered in St. Augustine as well. The two of them love to disciple and seek out Truths in God's Word, but on the rare occasion you don't see them at Anchor Faith Church, they're probably working in their yard or spending some quality time on the beach.
